There are many subjects that people will debate on but the topic of politics is one that really tends to get people riled up. This is not only true of everyday people, it is true of celebrities as well.

Barbra Streisand is a celebrity who was well-known for being an actor and singer, but she is also an activist. At 81 years of age, she still talks about what she believes in, and she is very vocal about her problems with President-elect Donald Trump.

Now that Donald Trump has been elected into office once again in 2024, Streisand is saying that she is not going to be sticking around very long. For many years, she has supported the Democratic Party in the United States, and she is very vocal about how much she dislikes Donald Trump.

Streisand has called him many names, including “so stupid” and “ill-informed,” branding him “the Liar in Chief, the Groper in Chief.” She has gone so far as to say: “I can’t live in this country if he becomes president.”

That may be a bold statement but it isn’t the first time that she said something similar to this. There have been many celebrities who promised to leave the United States if Trump won in 2016, but very few of them actually did it.

When Barbra Streisand released her 36th album, Walls in 2018, it was politically motivated. Some of the tracks on the album, such as ‘Don’t Lie to Me’ are laser-focused on Donald Trump.

She also says that she’s sick over the news and the lies that she continues to hear and wanted to express it through her music. She believes that the United States should not be lied to by the person in charge.

Like many other celebrities, she used her powerful voice to try to sway the voting population but, like in 2016, it fell mainly on deaf ears. This left her with making a decision whether she would stay in the country or leave as promised.

Streisand may be well motivated and she would like to see an America that is free of problems. That is a subject for another day.
