When something unexpected happens and you feel as if the person deserved it, you may consider it to be a case of universal justice. That is how many people are looking at the death of Urfan Sharif.

Urfan Sharif was found guilty of murdering his 10-year-old daughter, Sarah. She was at home in the UK and he was found guilty of some of the most terrifying types of child abuse imaginable. He was sentenced to life behind bars.

Sarah’s stepmother also received a life sentence for being involved in the death of the young girl.

This happened when sarah was found dead in August 2023. Her father and stepmother fled to Pakistan shortly after it took place.

After being sentenced on December 17, 2024, Urfan has been serving his time at a London-based prison that is known for housing high-profile criminals.

Just a week into his lifelong sentence, fellow inmates attacked Urfan with a jagged lid of a tuna tin. According to reports, he suffered cuts to his neck and face and received medical treatment at the prison without being taken to the hospital.

A hospital spokesman said: “Police are investigating an assault on a prisoner at HMP Belmarsh on January 1. It would be inappropriate to comment further while they investigate.”

The Metropolitan police also confirmed that an investigation is underway as they are looking into an allegation that a prisoner was assaulted. The convict, according to their estimations, had non-life-threatening injuries.

Sarah, his daughter had suffered ‘unimaginable pain, misery and anxiety’ by being bitten, burned, and beaten in the family home. Along with her father and stepmother, her 29-year-old uncle, Faisal Malik was found guilty of allowing her death and put in jail for 16 years.
