Whoopi Goldberg Jumps Out Of Her Seat And Walks Off ‘The View’

Anytime you get a group of interesting people together for a talk show, it has the possibility of creating controversy. This is especially true of a show that is controversial by design, The View.

When the members of the panel on that talk show take on any subject, you can almost guarantee there are going to be differences of opinion. Recently, this was seen when they brought up the subject of Miranda Lambert.

It seems as if Miranda had stopped one of her concerts recently to scold some of the fans for taking selfies while the show was going on. This culminated in Whoopi Goldberg walking off the stage.

When Whoopi Goldberg got up and walked off, she was only joking but many of the critics would have liked to see her continue walking. One thing it did was capture the attention of the Internet, and many people started debating the Miranda Lambert situation.

Just to let you know what happened, Miranda Lambert was in the middle of a concert but she stopped the show to yell at some fans who were taking selfies. This is a relatively common thing for people to take pictures as part of the experience.

Considering the fact that the tickets for the concert were expensive, you would expect that people would want to share the fact that they were in attendance on social media. The cohosts of the view were busy debating the situation, wondering if it was okay for her to stop the show and give people a hard time.

In the middle of the discussion, Whoopi decided to stand up and walk toward the audience, saying: “I’m leaving y’all.” I think she just had too much of the debating.

On the other hand, Alyssa Farah Griffin tried to find some middle ground in the argument, saying that Lambert shouldn’t be calling anyone out who paid good money to come see her concert.

After saying that, Whoopi Goldberg said that the fans were rude for taking selfies. She said: “They paid money for the tickets, they came to see her, so she’s singing. [Give] at least a little respect … acknowledge that you can see her [and] she can see you too.”

Sara Haines, who was another host on the show said that the fans who were scolded by Lambert were sitting close to the stage. Just because they were sitting close didn’t mean that she should be yelling at them and stopping the show to cause a scene.

The price of the VIP tickets for the Miranda Lambert show were very expensive. According to one quote: “The expensive tickets in the VIP section that they were in are $757. I’m gonna take as many selfies as I want if I paid $757, I’m sorry, just me.”

Sunny Hostin is the one who really got Whoopi Goldberg going by suggesting that people should stay home if they can’t stop taking pictures of themselves. Goldberg implied that the fan should focus on the performer, but that wasn’t a very popular argument.
