Can you find the cat hidden in this Christmas tree?

Celebrating Christmas together is always a heartwarming experience – especially if you have a real Christmas tree in the mix.

In my family (we have three cats), we take all sorts of precautions to avoid chaos and I promise, it’s a tough and demanding job!

Back in 2021, Richelle Fast was busy preparing for the holidays when a new member of the family decided to get involved – her rescue cat, Twigget.

As soon as the Christmas tree was set up, Twigget claimed it as her own, crawling right into the branches and making herself at home.

Back in 2021, Richelle Fast was busy preparing for the holidays when a new member of the family decided to get involved – her rescue cat, Twigget.

As soon as the Christmas tree was set up, Twigget claimed it as her own, crawling right into the branches and making herself at home.

Twigget even had some strong opinions about how the tree should be decorated.

”She won’t let me put any ornaments on the tree,” Fast shared with The Dodo.

”She thinks she is the only decoration the tree needs.”

Twigget would jump into the tree, batting at the ornaments in Fast’s hands, clearly insisting that no other decorations were necessary.

Fast says Twigget loves spending hours in her new, festive climbing post. The black cat blends in so well that at first glance, it’s hard to spot her.

A viral photo

”She’ll run over to the tree if anyone else gets close,” Fast added. “I figure, if I were a cat, I’d want to climb the tree too, so I let her have her fun.”

One day, Fast snapped a photo of Twigget hiding in the tree and was amazed at how well the cat camouflaged herself. When she posted the photo in a Facebook group with the caption ”Spot the void,” it turned into a fun challenge for her followers.

Thousands of Facebook users struggled to find Twigget at first, but when they finally spotted her, her cute face brought plenty of holiday joy.

”I don’t know if this is weird, but I felt the need for this picture. Makes me so happy,” one commenter wrote.

So, can you find Twigget in the tree? It might take a little time, but it’s worth the search!
